Job Description

Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to develop and support AI-driven products and services using approved tools and platforms. This includes analysis, project estimating, design, development/coding, testing, and documentation. The primary focus is on implementing AI solutions using OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, and other approved AI technologies.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and maintain AI-powe'red features and integrations using OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, and other enterprise-approved AI tools.
Perform programming tasks related to new development or maintenance on assigned applications, with a focus on AI and automation.
Analyze user needs and determine technical requirements, especially in the context of AI-enhanced workflows.
Promote strong quality practices by performing unit testing and supporting user acceptance testing.
Maintain accurate technical documentation for AI-related programming projects.
Act as a support resource for technical support staff to ensure efficient resolution of AI-related issues.
Lead development efforts on small to medium-sized AI projects.
Collaborate with Website and Database Administrators to ensure optimal configuration and deployment of AI solutions.
Stay current with emerging AI technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on the department.

Qualifications

3+ years of software or web development experience, including analysis, technical design, coding, and testing.
1+ years of hands-on experience with OpenAI APIs, Microsoft Copilot, or similar AI platforms.
Experience with Power Automate is a strong plus.
Associates degree in Computer Science or a related field; Bachelors degree preferred.
Proficient in C#, Angular, REST APIs, and SQL Server development.
Familiarity with Visual Studio/Visual Code and Microsoft Office Suite.
Object-oriented programming experience and working knowledge of SDLC.

Other Requirements

Strong systems analysis and design skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
