Senior Engineer / Technical Lead (Linux BSP)

As a Senior Engineer / Technical Lead (Linux BSP) at our company, you will be responsible for the design and development of real-time embedded software/firmware and PC/mobile-based software applications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Analyzing domain-specific technical or low-level requirements and making modifications as per end customer or system requirements. - Participating in high-level and low-level software design. - Performing software testing, including unit, functional, and system-level requirements, both manually and through automation. - Ensuring traceability from software requirements to design to coding to testing. - Conducting code reviews following coding guidelines and static code analysis. - Troubleshooting software problems of limited difficulty. - Documenting technical deliverables such as software specifications, design documents, code comments, test cases, test reports, release notes, etc., throughout the project life cycle. - Following defined processes for the software development life cycle. - Developing software solutions using established programming languages or learning new languages required for specific projects. We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications: - Strong knowledge of Linux device drivers, Linux Kernel Programming, Linux Kernel Internals, Yocto/Buildroot, or other build systems. - Experience with development tools like oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, emulators, signal generators, JTAG programmers, GIT, SVN, and JIRA. - Experience working with different embedded microprocessors based on Qualcomm, TI, NXP, NVIDIA, Intel, or similar. - Experience with board support package, device driver, and bootloader development/porting. - Understanding of hardware schematics and datasheets of hardware components to derive firmware/software-specific solutions. - Strong sense of ownership, passion, fast learning ability, analytical mindset, and a commitment to perfection.
