Senior Engineer / Technical Lead (Linux BSP)

Role Overview: As a Senior Engineer / Technical Lead specializing in Linux BSP, your primary responsibility will be the design and development of real-time embedded software/firmware and PC/mobile based software applications. You will be required to analyze domain-specific technical or low-level requirements and make necessary modifications based on end customer or system requirements. Additionally, you will participate in high-level and low-level software design, conduct various software testing activities, and ensure software requirement traceability from design to coding to testing. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop real-time embedded software/firmware and PC/mobile-based software applications - Analyze domain-specific technical or low-level requirements and make modifications as per end customer or system requirements - Participate in high-level and low-level software design - Conduct software testing including unit, functional, and system level testing manually and through automation - Ensure software requirement traceability from design to coding to testing - Conduct code reviews following coding guidelines and static code analysis - Troubleshoot software problems of limited difficulty - Document technical deliverables such as software specifications, design documents, code commenting, test cases, test reports, release notes, etc., throughout the project life cycle - Follow defined processes for the software development life cycle - Develop software solutions using established programming languages or by learning new languages required for specific projects Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of Linux device drivers, Linux Kernel Programming, Linux Kernel Internals, Yocto / Buildroot, or any other build systems - Experience working with development tools like oscilloscope, protocol analyzer, emulator, signal generator, JTAG programmer, GIT, SVN, JIRA - Experience working with different embedded microprocessors based on Qualcomm, TI, NXP, NVIDIA, Intel, or similar - Experience in board support package, device driver, and boot loader development/porting - Understanding of hardware schematics and datasheets of hardware components to derive firmware/software-specific solutions - Strong sense of ownership, passion, fast learner, analytical mindset, and perfection-seeking attitude Company Details: The company is located in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Pune, and Chennai.
