Interview:

Knowledge, Roles and Responsibilities

- Should have a knowledge about Electric Motor, VFD, PLC, Switch gear, and relay , control panel, sensor, limit switches etc in Engineering/ automation industry..

-Source, evaluate, and finalize suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery parameters

-Ability to work with the Team.

-Understand technical requirements from engineering team and convert them into purchase specs.

-Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in ERP system.

-Negotiate prices, terms, and lead times with vendors.

-Monitor supplier performance and conduct periodic reviews.

-Coordinate with stores, production, accounts, and design for procurement planning.

-Track and ensure timely delivery of materials and components.

-Maintain records of all purchases, pricing, delivery timelines, and vendor data

-Follow up on material shortages and delays; provide alternate sourcing options.

-Support vendor development initiatives and cost reduction strategies.

-Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and procurement policies.
