Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing day-to-day production operations on the shop floor.
Ensure adherence to production plans and delivery schedules.
Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices and 5S.
Monitor and ensure quality output as per the required specifications.
Conduct root cause analysis for process issues and drive corrective actions.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, Logistics).
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.
Maintain production documentation and records using SAP/ERP.
Lead and supervise a team of operators and line technicians.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Automobile).
37 years of experience in production, preferably in an automotive manufacturing setup.
Hands-on experience with assembly line operations, TPM, and lean tools.
Familiarity with SAP or any other manufacturing ERP system.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
Willing to work in shifts and manage large teams.
