Job Description

Role Overview

CNC Programmer

Key Responsibilities

Develop, modify, and optimize
CNC programs (2D/3D)
for frame components and fabrication parts.
Review engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to ensure
accurate part dimensions and tolerances
.
Validate CNC programs on the shop floor and resolve execution issues.
Coordinate with CNC machine operators to ensure correct setups, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, etc.
Troubleshoot machining problems and improve machining cycles for better productivity.
Maintain documentation for programs, tooling lists, and setup sheets.
Work with production and quality teams to ensure adherence to manufacturing standards.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and process protocols.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of
CNC programming languages
(Fanuc / Haas / Siemens / Mazak, etc.).
Experience with
CAD/CAM tools
such as Mastercam, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, UG NX, Fusion 360, or similar.
Hands-on experience in
manufacturing of frames, sheet metal, or fabrication components
.
Strong understanding of
GD&T, machining operations, tooling, and materials
.
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings accurately.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and coordination skills with production teams.
