Senior Engineer Production

The Manufacturing Engineer role at Calderys Group involves enhancing the overall manufacturing process through research programs, product design, fabrication, assembly, and materials knowledge. Your responsibilities include managing a small plant maintenance force, conducting routine inspections, and setting performance metrics. You will collaborate with operations, management, and customers, while also modifying, designing, or creating new products, tooling, and equipment. Implementing programs that improve processes with the maintenance department using Lean manufacturing principles will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will analyze process efficiencies to drive continuous improvement. To qualify for this position, you need a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, familiarity with LEAN Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and LEAN Management principles, as well as proficiency in MS Office and CAD/Drafting skills. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate should have two to four years of industrial manufacturing engineer experience.
