Senior Engineer Mechanical Design

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Pall Corporation, you will be responsible for delivering custom and engineered Mechanical designs to customers. Your role involves working closely with project teams and engineering managers to ensure that engineering solutions align with customer requirements, project schedules, and budgets. You must have the ability to work independently on complex, integrated projects across cross-functional teams and lead engineering initiatives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Produce engineering documentation like drawings, pressure vessel calculations, data sheets, and procedures to support various requests. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and detail products that prioritize safety, reliability, robustness, and functionality. - Provide manufacturing support to ensure consistent output, quality, and cost efficiency. The essential requirements for this job include: - B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical or equivalent field. - Strong understanding of mechanical design principles related to pressure vessels, hydraulic systems, and process systems following international standards. - Minimum 7-9 years of experience in Static pressure vessel design according to ASME Codes and Standards. - Knowledge of major manufacturing processes such as welding, machining, forming, molding/casting, and sealing mechanisms. - Ability to multitask and fluency in the English language. - Hands-on experience with PVELITE & AutoCAD. Additionally, previous experience in design of filtration and pressure vessels products, along with hands-on experience in PV Elite software and Inventor software, would be advantageous.
