Senior Engineer Mechanical Design

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Pall Corporation, you will play a crucial role in delivering custom and engineered Mechanical designs for customers. You will collaborate closely with project teams and engineering managers to ensure that the engineering solutions align with customer requirements, project schedules, and budgets. Your responsibilities will involve working independently on complex, integrated projects across cross-functional teams and leading engineering initiatives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Produce engineering documentation such as drawings, pressure vessel calculations, data sheets, and procedures to support various requests, ensuring they meet customer specifications, current legislation, and quality standards. - Work as part of a cross-functional team to design and detail products that prioritize safety, reliability, robustness, functionality, manufacturability, operability, and maintainability. - Provide manufacturing support to ensure consistent output, quality, and cost-effectiveness in factories. The essential requirements for this job are: - B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical or Equivalent - Good understanding of mechanical design principles related to pressure vessels/housings, hydraulic and process systems, as per international standards - Minimum 7-9 years of experience in Static pressure vessel design according to ASME Codes and Standards - Knowledge of major manufacturing processes including welding, machining, forming, molding/casting, and sealing mechanisms - Ability to multitask - Fluency in English language - Hands-on experience with PVELITE & AutoCAD It would be advantageous if you also have previous experience in: - Minimum 4-5 years of experience in the design of filtration and pressure vessels/housings products or equivalent - Hands-on experience with PV Elite software for 5 years and familiarity with Inventor software Join Pall Corporation's Global Process Engineering group Vessels team in Pune, India, and be part of a company with a more than 75-year history of innovation.
