Senior Engineer Java/J2ee+REST+SQL Product Development

As a software engineer at Oracle Cloud SCM Cost Management, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for commercial or end-user applications. Your role will involve writing code, completing programming tasks, and conducting testing and debugging activities. You will work as part of the software engineering division, performing high-level design based on external specifications, implementing minor changes to existing software architecture, and resolving complex bugs. Additionally, you will build and execute unit tests, review test plans, and communicate with QA and porting engineering teams. Your duties will be varied and complex, requiring independent judgment, and you may have project lead responsibilities or supervise lower-level personnel. - Analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for commercial or end-user applications - Write code, complete programming tasks, and perform testing and debugging activities - Perform high-level design based on external specifications and implement minor changes to existing software architecture - Build highly complex enhancements, resolve complex bugs, and execute unit tests and plans - Review integration and regression test plans, communicate with QA and porting engineering teams, and discuss minor changes to product functionality - Background in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience in writing enterprise software products - Knowledge of Software Engineering and complete life-cycle product development with a focus on high quality - Proficiency in Java, J2EE, XML, Web services, SQL, RDBMS (Oracle 19c), and exposure to MVC architecture (ADF/VBCS), RESTful services, Fusion Middleware, Essbase are a plus - Ability to understand business concepts and processes, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, maintain high-quality coding standards and unit tests (Junits) - Experience working with Agile/Scrum (PSM I/PSM II), JIRA, ADE processes are a plus - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work in a global team, share knowledge and skills, and leverage others" expertise,
