Senior Engineer

As a Software Tester at Iris Software, you will be a part of a team that values critical thinking, testing concepts, and ETL Testing / Python experience. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Critical Thinking: - High in logical reasoning and proactiveness - Ability to come up with diverse test cases against requirements - Testing Concepts: - Practice various test design techniques - Clarity with priority and severity - Understanding of testing life cycle and defect management - Differentiating between regression and functional testing - SQL/ETL/Batch: - Proficiency in writing SQL statements with aggregate functions and joins - Understanding data transformation - Familiarity with data loads and related validations - Automation: - Ability to solve problems programmatically - Familiarity with coding standards, version control, pipelines - Capability to identify UI elements programmatically - Nice to Have: - API Understanding & Testing (Manual / Automation) - UI Automation (Ability to identify UI elements programmatically, specifically for Selenium) In addition to the above, you are expected to have the following qualifications: - API: - Understanding of how APIs work - Familiarity with various authorization mechanisms - Validation of responses As an Iris Software employee, you will be part of a culture where colleagues are valued, and you will have opportunities to explore your potential and grow.
