Senior Engineer - Instrumentation and Control

As the Instrumentation Control Automation Designer for the UK region, you will be responsible for designing instrumentation control automation systems based on international standards. Your role will involve having a good understanding and working knowledge of various water and wastewater treatment processes, including pumping stations and water treatment works. You will collaborate with global multi-disciplinary teams on water/wastewater projects. Key responsibilities include preparing design basis, P&ID, system/network architecture, control philosophy, PLC GA, wiring and schematic diagrams, I/O list, loop diagram, instrument list, and instrument datasheets. You will also perform instrument sizing calculations such as flow meters. Experience with applications like AutoCAD, AutoDesk Revit, and Plant 3D will be advantageous. Your role will also involve reviewing vendor drawings for various instrumentation control automation systems. You will apply your practical knowledge to design layouts and equipment layouts for outdoor/indoor buildings, as well as trench/tray layouts. Collaboration with designers, civil engineers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, process engineers, and external design consultants may be required. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will be expected to fulfill any other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate should hold a B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering from an accredited university and have 7-12 years of experience in ICA design within a consultancy organization for the water sector. Proficiency in MS Office is required, and familiarity with AutoCAD is essential. Strong written and oral communication skills, self-motivation, and a keen interest in learning new skills to add value to the team and organization are also vital for success in this role.,
