Job Description

Designation - Senior Engineer I - Design

New product development Carry out concept research for design requirements of new products, along with preliminary proof of concept design & detailed design for final prototype development.
Prototyping – Thoroughly prototype & test design to ensure the quality of design meets product requirements before releasing for manufacturing.
FEA analysis - Carry out FEA/FEM design validation for parts wherever possible to ensure the design meets the part requirements.
DFMEA - Carry out elaborate DFMEA for products & subsystems in collaboration with CFTs.
Design reviews - Regularly review work with the project teams to ensure compatibility with cross functional teams (CFTs) & product requirements.
Create & review manufacturing drawings - Create engineering drawings for parts & assemblies & carry out detailed drawing reviews of CTQ parameters with CFTs to ensure availability of sufficient information for manufacturing activities.
Engineering BOM preparation - Create & maintain the complete engineering bill of materials of new products.
Design of jigs & fixtures - Identify, collect and address any need for manufacturing & assembly jig/fixture requirements for new & existing products.
Design changes through ECR - Promptly make design changes through the ECR process to ensure manufacturing information of products in production is up to date & free of errors.
Non-conformance (NC) analysis & deviation acceptance - Provide swift and well-thought-out actions for NCs & deviation acceptance for parts in production to ensure error-free continuity of work.
