Senior Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1.Site Execution & Monitoring

• Supervise daily construction activities as per drawings and instructions from the senior engineer.
• Check shuttering, reinforcement, alignment, and levels before concreting.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained during work execution.
• Maintain site records for concrete pouring, materials, and manpower.
• Conduct material checks cement, sand, aggregates, steel, etc.
• Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly site activities.
• Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety norms.
• Manage Mivan formwork cycle planning, target achievements, and manpower distribution.
• Conduct site inspections and technical checks before and after major activities.

2.Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and update daily progress reports (DPR).
• Maintain material inward/outward registers.
• Assist in quantity estimation and BBS (Bar Bending Schedule) preparation.
• Coordinate with store and quality departments for approvals.

3.Coordination

• Report daily work progress of the Site to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with labour, supervisors, and subcontractors for smooth workflow.
• Ensure availability of materials and equipment before the next activity.

4.Common Skills Required

• Strong communication and team coordination
• Good understanding of structural drawings
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD
• Quality control and site safety awareness
• Time management and reporting discipline

Preferred candidate profile

(i) For Junior Civil Engineer

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in building construction / high-rise / Mivan formwork projects.

(ii) For Senior Civil Engineer

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Diploma with strong experience also acceptable).
• 5 to 10+ years of experience in high-rise or Mivan construction.
• Proven track record in site execution, planning, and team management.

*Experienced In Contracting Firm, Mivan Experienced Is Mandatory
