As a Field Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Electronic components and semiconductor industry in India. Your primary responsibilities will include developing tailored technical solutions for customers, collaborating with sales teams, providing post-sales technical support, and ensuring successful product integration into customer designs. You will also have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and enhance your knowledge of industrial electronic components and semiconductors. Key Responsibilities: - Develop customized technical solutions for customers by aligning their application requirements with semiconductor and electronic component products. - Provide technical expertise in meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations to support solution-based selling. - Collaborate with sales and business development teams to drive strategic account wins through pre-sales technical support. - Ensure long-term account success by offering continuous post-sales technical assistance and fostering customer loyalty. - Create unique technical value propositions to differentiate the company's offerings in the competitive landscape. Functional Responsibilities: - Assist customers in integrating semiconductors and electronic components into their systems, offering technical advice on design and application. - Provide technical guidance during pre-sales, address customer inquiries, and develop solutions. - Support customers post-sales in issue troubleshooting and product optimization. - Facilitate customers during the design-in to design-win process, collaborating with vendors for successful implementation. - Coordinate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure timely component delivery and support production schedules. - Conduct training sessions for customers, partners, and internal teams to enhance product understanding and market adoption. - Collaborate with product management, sales, and marketing teams to ensure customer satisfaction. - Perform market research, competition analysis, and manage product data and related documents. Skills Required: - Deep technical knowledge of electronic components and semiconductor technologies. - Ability to translate complex technical information into actionable business insights. - Familiarity with embedded systems design and programming languages like C/C++, Python. - Experience in diagnosing technical issues, product testing, and validation. - Strong project management, organizational skills, and MS Office proficiency. - Effective cross-functional collaboration, negotiation skills, and time management. - Prioritization skills, analytical thinking, and a customer-centric approach. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Telecommunication/Industrial Electronics engineering. - 4-6+ years of experience in the semiconductor or electronics components industry. - Strong technical background in semiconductor products and applications. - Experience in customer-facing technical roles with a focus on solutions-based support. - Excellent communication, presentation skills, and knowledge of industry trends. - Flexible to travel PAN India.
