Senior Engineer - Dry Utilities

As a Civil Design Engineer at WSP, your role involves providing design solutions to civil engineering projects including High Voltage, Medium voltage, Low Voltage, Street Lighting, and Telecom networks for master plan, transportation, and highway projects. You will design right of way cross sections for all utilities, produce reports, drawings, calculations, and presentations. Your responsibilities also include liaising with local authorities regarding utility design proposals on behalf of the client, advising and presenting engineering solutions to clients and stakeholders, and submitting designs to local authorities for approvals. Your expertise in using Dialux, ETAP, Amtech, AutoCAD, Civil3D, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office will be essential for producing deliverables. Additionally, you will be involved in power analysis studies, design, and modeling, while ensuring compliance with QA/QC requirements and coordinating work with other disciplines. Qualifications: - BEng /BSc (Hon) or equivalent in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 8 years post-graduate experience - Member of/working towards associated Professional body membership - Expertise in modeling of power and lighting networks - Proficiency in detailed design of engineering solutions - Strong report writing skills - Ability to compile authority approval documentation in accordance with local authority standards to obtain approvals About WSP: WSP is a global professional services consulting firm dedicated to local communities and driven by international expertise.
