Senior Engineer - Design Excellence

As an R&D Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the mechanical integrity of products through machine design calculations and simulations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Analyzing and optimizing the design of mechanical components such as bearings, gears, and structural elements. - Conducting Design for Reliability (DfR) and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) studies for design optimization and cost reduction. - Utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and ensure product longevity. - Keeping abreast of the latest developments in mechanical design principles and technologies. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. - Creating and maintaining engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports. - Developing and implementing quality control procedures to meet or exceed customer expectations. To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - 2-3 years of experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA). - Experience in a special purpose machine manufacturing company is advantageous. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of mechanical design principles. - Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling and simulation. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently. - Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
