Senior Engineer -Construction

Job Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Senior Engineer Construction with 10+ years of hands-on experience in handling mid to large-scale High Rise Apartments residential projects. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently supervising site execution, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring quality, cost, and time compliance. Key Responsibilities: Project Execution: Oversee day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications. Team Management: Supervise junior engineers, supervisors, and contractors, ensuring smooth coordination between different teams. Quality Control: Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards. Planning & Scheduling: Coordinate with project managers to create detailed construction schedules, monitor progress, and manage delays. Material Management: Ensure timely requisition and availability of construction materials at the site. Site Coordination: Liaise with consultants, architects, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery. Compliance & Safety: Ensure site activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Documentation: Maintain daily progress reports (DPR), material consumption logs, quality checklists, and other project documentation. Technical Guidance: Provide technical support and guidance to team members and resolve on-site issues. Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Required Skills and Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent. 10+ years of experience in construction project execution, preferably in high-rise buildings, residential, or commercial projects. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project drawings, and engineering standards. Hands-on experience with project management tools like MS Project/Primavera. Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant engineering software. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Attributes: Experience with high-rise Apartments. Exposure to modern construction techniques and quality assurance processes. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
