Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and develop HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects in accordance with project specifications and standards.
  • Perform

    heat load calculations

    , equipment selection, and duct sizing using relevant design software (e.g., HAP, Elite, AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Prepare and review

    HVAC layout drawings

    , schematics, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
  • Ensure compliance with

    ASHRAE, ISHRAE, and local building codes

    .
  • Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and plumbing teams for integrated MEP designs.
  • Prepare

    technical documentation

    , design reports, and material submittals for client approval.
  • Conduct site visits for

    design validation

    , system inspection, and installation supervision.
  • Support in tendering activities including

    technical bid evaluation

    and vendor coordination.
  • Optimize system efficiency focusing on

    energy conservation and sustainability

    .
  • Review and verify shop drawings and as-built drawings.

Preferred candidate profile

5+ Years Experience with Mechanical Engineering

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP/TRACE 700, and MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems such as VRF/VRV, Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, and ductwork design.
  • Ability to prepare and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills for multi-disciplinary projects.
