Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Role Overview: You are a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Mindlabs, located in Hyderabad. Your primary responsibility is to design, build, and support embedded software for various MCU platforms across multiple product lines. You will work closely with hardware, cloud, and product teams to ensure the successful integration and validation of new boards, prototypes, and complete embedded systems. Additionally, you will be involved in field testing and troubleshooting issues on deployed devices. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and support embedded software across QuecOpen, ESP32, STM32, and other MCU platforms for multiple product lines. - Design robust, RTOS-based state machines for long-running, production-grade firmware. - Implement and integrate peripherals such as GPIO, UART, I2C, SPI, ADC, PWM, sensors, and communication modules. - Implement features such as sensor interfacing, timers, communication stacks, low-power logic, bootloaders, OTA, etc. - Integrate with cellular/Wi-Fi/BLE modules and handle network lifecycle management. - Build and maintain networking flows (TCP/UDP, MQTT, HTTP, TLS) for cloud-connected IoT devices. - Write clear documentation, participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement. - Support field testing and troubleshoot issues on deployed devices. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field. - Preferred: 3-5 years of embedded development experience. - Minimum: 1-2 years of experience for strong candidates with solid embedded + RTOS fundamentals and real project experience. - Freshers considered only if they have a strong hands-on embedded portfolio (not hobby-level Arduino).
