Job Description

Job Title:

Senior Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain electrical systems across the entire wire drawing and GI wire production facility.
Perform troubleshooting and repair of control panels, motors (AC/DC), PLC systems, and power distribution units.
Lead preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to reduce downtime.
Supervise installation, commissioning, and testing of new machines and equipment.
Ensure all electrical work complies with industry safety standards and regulations.
Monitor energy usage and implement power-saving initiatives.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance logs and electrical schematics.
Coordinate with production and mechanical maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations.
Train and supervise junior electricians and technicians.

Requirements:

ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
Minimum 8 years of industrial experience, preferably in
wire drawing, galvanizing, or metal manufacturing
.
Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, VFDs, PLCs, and motor rewinding.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and control circuits.
Familiarity with electrical safety protocols and statutory regulations.
Willingness to work in a shift-based environment
Physically fit, hands-on, and a team player.
