Senior Electrical Design Engineer

As a highly talented Power/Electrical Engineer at Applied Materials, you will be joining the Power Team located in Israel. Your role will involve leading the design process of power modules AC & DC, managing projects with external electronics and electricity development companies, selecting and integrating solutions/vendors, and working closely with multiple groups across the organization. Additionally, you will be involved in the development of electric power distribution, switching, protection in systems up to 20 KW, control and electric drive for industrial modules and sensors, as well as gaining hands-on lab and testing experience. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design process of power modules AC & DC for electronic modules. - Manage projects using external electronics and electricity development companies. - Lead solution/vendors selection, integration, and testing of electrical and power supply modules. - Work closely with multiple groups across the organization. - Develop electric power distribution, switching, protection in systems up to 20 KW. - Develop control and electric drive for industrial modules and sensors. - Gain hands-on lab and testing experience. Qualification Required: - Bachelors/Masters in Electrical Engineering. - Minimum 4+ years of electrical design experience. - Knowledge in safety certifications SEMI, UL, CE. - Familiarity with component selections and wiring standards in an industrial environment. - Project management skills, excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong interpersonal skills for explaining difficult or sensitive information and building consensus. - Experience in work planning, organization, and target orientation. - Capable of running multiple projects in parallel, either in-house or through subcontractors. - Independent designer with good interpersonal communication skills.
