Senior Electric Engineer (Transformer Bushings)

Conex Metals is currently expanding its product line to include Transformer Bushing Assemblies, in addition to its existing range of Transformer metal Components. We are in search of a Senior Engineer who specializes in the design and testing of Electrical Bushings and Insulators. As a full-time Senior Transformer Bushing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and testing of transformer bushings. Key responsibilities include the creation of technical documentation, conducting quality assessments, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards. A deep understanding of Industry standard bushings is essential for success in this role. Furthermore, this position will require you to engage with clients to comprehend their specifications and offer necessary technical assistance. Qualifications for this role include a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a preference for candidates holding a Bachelors or Masters qualification. Prior experience in transformer bushing design, development, and testing is mandatory. Proficiency in CAD software and technical documentation, along with a solid grasp of quality control procedures and industry standards, are highly valued skills. Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude are essential, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Previous involvement in the manufacturing of Transformer Bushings/ Insulators will be a significant advantage in this role.,
