Senior Education Counsellor / Senior Counsellor

As an Educational Counsellor at Admitworld, your role will involve advising and counselling students on various universities, courses, admission requirements, entrance exams, and scholarships abroad for Indian students. You will be responsible for assisting in promoting overseas educational institutions represented by the company, providing suitable study options to students based on their profiles, needs, and aspirations, and guiding students with applications. Additionally, you will be required to provide telephonic counselling to leads, invite them for in-office counselling, meet foreign university delegates, represent the company at fairs and events, liaise with universities and university officers, and contribute to developing the Admitworld brand. Key Responsibilities: - Advise and counsel students on universities, courses, admission requirements, entrance exams, and scholarships abroad - Assist in promoting overseas educational institutions and provide suitable study options to students - Guide students with applications and forward their applications to universities - Provide telephonic counselling to leads and invite them for in-office counselling - Meet foreign university delegates and represent the company at fairs and events - Liaise with universities and university officers - Contribute to developing the Admitworld brand Qualifications Required: - Good communication skills to converse effectively with students and parents - Organized and structured approach to work - Reliable and ability to meet deadlines consistently - Willingness to go the extra mile to assist students - Proficiency in Microsoft Word and preferably Excel - Ability to use the internet effectively for research on universities and courses - Strong writing skills to communicate effectively with universities and students In addition to the above responsibilities, prior experience in the study abroad/overseas education industry is a must.
