Education Counsellor / Assistant Counsellor

In this role, you will report to and assist the Senior Counsellors by handling calls, follow-ups, student queries, and applications. You will provide advice and counsel to students on various universities, courses, admission requirements, and entrance exams, which will be guided by the Senior Counsellor. Your responsibilities will include telephonic counseling to leads, engaging with students via phone, chat, and email, conducting meetings to collect application information, guiding students with form filling, forwarding applications to universities, closing student cases within timelines, representing the company at fairs and events, corresponding with universities, and contributing to the development of the Admitworld brand. As an Assistant Counsellor, you may also counsel students in their first meeting if deemed ready by the Senior Counsellor. Key Responsibilities: - Assist Senior Counsellors with calls, follow-ups, and student queries - Counsel students on universities, courses, admission requirements, and entrance exams - Provide telephonic counseling and invite leads for in-office counseling - Engage with students through various communication channels - Conduct meetings to gather application information - Guide students with form filling and forward applications to universities - Close student cases within defined timelines - Represent the company at fairs and events - Correspond and liaise with universities - Contribute to the development of the Admitworld brand Qualifications Required: - Reliable and good at meeting deadlines - Punctual and structured in work approach - Proficient in MS Word and internet usage - Flexible to provide individual-specific attention - Strong communication skills If you have prior experience in the Study Abroad/Overseas Education industry, it will be advantageous, but not compulsory. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience. Specific Country counseling experience is also welcomed.,
