Senior Director, Engineering

You will work with an agile team to manage the product roadmap and full product life cycle of CxCommerce, our cloud-based customer experience platform. Your responsibilities will include: - Plan, define, hire, retain, and motivate a high-performance team of software engineers - Lead the evolution of the PhaseZero EMACS technology platform and CxCommerce SaaS platform - Define long-term roadmap and drive release planning and execution - Lead design, architecture, and development processes - Collaborate closely with peers and global management teams to ensure successful outcomes - Shape the product & technical vision for the team and define key requirements and features - Nurture a culture of experimentation, fail fast, and learn fast Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience in software development - Deep knowledge of enterprise software development lifecycle - Strong design, architecture, and problem-solving skills - Experience leading end-to-end engineering teams building enterprise SaaS applications - Proficient in Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and other frameworks - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Functional knowledge of ecommerce, supply chain, and order management Desired/Plus: - Experience in building advanced data pipelines and machine learning modules - Experience in building scalable, highly available cloud-native architecture - Experience with enterprise-grade workflow business processes - Experience with highly scalable API gateway technologies Requirements: - Bachelors in Computer Science or associated field, Masters preferred - Extensive experience in leading teams and mentoring - Experience working closely with customers, prospects, and partners - Experience with supply chain, CRM, and other enterprise business systems At PhaseZero, we value our employees and offer competitive compensation packages, comprehensive health benefits, a flexible work environment, holidays and PTO, rewards, and recognitions, among other benefits.
