Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring & Observability Setup:

  Configure and maintain Datadog dashboards, alerts, logs, and APM to provide end-to-end visibility across applications, infrastructure, and microservices.

• Integration & Automation:

  Integrate Datadog with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, and leverage IaC tools (Terraform/Ansible) for automated monitoring configuration.

• Performance & Incident Response:

  Monitor key metrics, optimize system performance, and deliver actionable insights during incidents to improve system reliability and reduce MTTR.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions

 • Author and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments

 • Optimize Azure-hosted development and scaling environments

 • Integrate Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry for observability

  • Automate cluster scaling, load balancing, and resource tuning

 • Troubleshoot toolchain and process issues to resolution

 • Evaluate, recommend, and pilot new DevOps technologies

Candidate Profile:

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications -

• Proven experience in Datadog.
• 5+ years in DevOps or site reliability engineering  •
• Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm (stateful apps) 
• Expert with CI/CD toolsJenkins or GitHub Actions 
• Public cloud experience (Azure preferred) 
• Observability: Prometheus metrics, Grafana dashboards, OpenTelemetry  
• Shell scripting in Bash; Git version control expertise   

Good-to-Have Skills and Qualifications -

• Backup/recovery for PostgreSQL and MinIO  
• Securing Kubernetes via network policies and RBAC  
• Familiarity with WildFly, Zookeeper/Kafka, OpenSearch  
• Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), Jira, Confluence
