Senior Devops Engineer

Role & responsibilities

5-12 years of relevant engineering experience

• Passion for self-driven, continuous learning both in and out of office.
• Excellent communication skills are required to be able to convey technical issues and details to non-technical users.
• Must have Kubernetes or container orchestration experience.
• Must have Linux experience.
• Must have at least one of scripting skill of Bash, Python, or Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and best practices (Azure DevOps(VSTS), Jenkins, Octopus, Team City, or any Pipelines managed system)
• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) software development, Git/GitHub, and related tools
• Knowledge with Open Source technology that provides insight into service health such as Prometheus, ELK stack and e.t.c.
• Experience Istio and Calico deep diving huge plus.
• Required to work flexible hours to support US time zone and operation. Time shift and On-call schedule will be in place.
• Knowledge of Windows platform such as IIS, Windows NT services are plus.
• Large environment experience is big plus, +1,000 servers or services.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum 5 years DevOps exp.

5-10 years IT industry Experience

Mandatory Skills: Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker and Terraform

CKA certification holder is preferred.
