Senior Developer / Tech lead

As a Senior Developer / Tech lead at Amplifai's newly established Pune office, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of an AI-powered platform. Your responsibilities will include taking ownership of ongoing projects, architecting scalable microservices, and leading a team to deliver innovative features for thrift store management and seller experiences. This role presents an opportunity for you to shape the technical vision, integrate AI-driven tools like pricing assistants, and ensure compliance with global standards in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your expertise with AI technologies like GPT tools and AI agents will be essential in contributing to product descriptions, specifications, and test case creation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Serve as a Senior Developer and individual contributor to lead the development of a platform using technologies such as Next.js, Supabase, Drizzle ORM, and Vercel for hosting. - Design and implement microservices to enhance the platform's functionalities. - Integrate Vercel AI SDK to incorporate AI-driven features like pricing assistants and product classification. - Utilize TanStack (React Query) for effective state management and ShadCN for reusable UI components. - Drive CI/CD automation and deployment pipelines on Vercel, focusing on addressing technical debt in React Query, Drizzle, and database structure. - Collaborate with product analysts, UX designers, and QA teams to deliver configurable business flows and integrations with POS systems. - Mentor developers to ensure code quality and scalability while owning project delivery and managing technical risks. - Track project progress, identify risks, and resolve roadblocks to ensure timely delivery. - Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams, presenting solutions and progress updates with clarity. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, user stories, and sprint metrics. - Identify opportunities to enhance Agile processes, team collaboration, and product outcomes through continuous improvement. **Required Skills & Experience:** - 5-8 years of software development experience, with at least 1 year as a tech lead or architect. - Expertise in Next.js, React, and TypeScript for building scalable web applications. - Proficiency with Supabase for authentication and database management, and Drizzle ORM for data interactions. - Strong experience with TanStack (React Query) for state management and ShadCN for UI frameworks. - Hands-on knowledge of Vercel for hosting, deployments, and Vercel AI SDK for AI integrations. - Proven ability to design microservices architectures with RESTful APIs. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Vercel CI and GitHub Actions. - Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.,
