To be successful as a Senior Developer, you should have experience with: Basic/ Essential Qualifications: - Graduate/Postgraduate with hands-on experience (8+ years) in Microsoft.Net, C#, ASP.Net MVC, Web Services, Web API, DotNet Core, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3. - Previous experience in RestFul services is a big plus. - Good knowledge and understanding of pricing different products. - Experience with relational database systems, schema design, SSIS, SQL (MSSQL), and stored procedures. - Strong general development practices such as OOAD, design patterns, continuous integration, unit testing, and Agile Process. - Structured approach to problem-solving and ability to manage parallel streams of work. - Experience with technologies supporting development, continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment. - Ability to mentor and guide junior team members. Desirable skillsets/ good to have: - Knowledge and experience with OpenShift and other cloud-based solutions is a plus. - UI framework expertise. This role will be based out of Pune. Purpose of the role: To design, develop, and improve software using various engineering methodologies that provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues. Accountabilities: - Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. - Collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration with business objectives. - Participation in code reviews and promotion of a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. - Staying informed of industry technology trends, contributing to the organization's technology communities, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and growth. - Adherence to secure coding practices and implementation of effective unit testing practices.
