Senior Design Manager - Electrical Power Systems

Role Overview: As an Electrical Design Expert, you will play a crucial role in designing and engineering Electrical Power Systems (EPS) and equipment for Hydro Power Projects. Your responsibilities will include creating single-line diagrams, ensuring compliance with standards up to 500kV, collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams, and leading initiatives for continuous improvement. Mentoring junior engineers will also be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop single-line diagrams, conduct load flow analysis, and perform short-circuit calculations/studies. - Engage in basic and detailed engineering of Electrical Power Systems for Hydro Power Projects, covering components like switchgear, transformers, busducts, and cabling systems. - Conduct equipment sizing and selection, ensuring alignment with project requirements. - Demonstrate technical knowledge of Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP) packages and provide support during negotiations. - Prioritize customer satisfaction, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with teams and suppliers for project progress. - Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, mentor junior engineers, and ensure timely system delivery. - Ensure adherence to standards, quality assurance, and industry regulations. Qualification Requirements: - Qualification: BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering - Experience: 15-20 years - Skills and Abilities: - Proficiency in engineering software like ETAP - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities - Technical project management skills - Knowledge of national and international standards and regulations - Leadership and mentorship capabilities,
