Job Title: Senior Design Engineer
Location: Ernakulam, Kerala

Key Responsibilities:

• Design machines from concept to release.
• Create 2D/3D drawings, assemblies, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Perform mechanism design, engineering calculations, and optimization for cost and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with production teams and interface with customers.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in machine design, preferably in packaging, automation, special purpose machines (SPM), or material handling systems.
• Expert in 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D (SolidWorks preferred) CAD. Experience in PDM environments is a plus.
• Pneumatic circuits & actuator selection
• Servo & motion systems
• Sheet metal, welded structures, machining & fabrication
• Material handling & robotic interfaces
• Hands-on experience working with manufacturing teams and suppliers.
• Ability to independently handle design projects from concept to final release.
• Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance stack-up, safety standards, and CE/GMP compliance.
