Senior Design Engineer

As an Engineering professional at Lincoln Electric in Chennai, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the team for CAD related activities. Your role will involve creating 3D models and drawings from conceptual sketches, assisting the team in component fabrication and testing, and supporting the creation of technical documentation using tools like Microsoft Word and Excel. Your ability to work productively and efficiently will be crucial in ensuring that tasks are completed within the specified timeline. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support for CAD related activities - Create 3D models and drawings based on conceptual sketches - Assist the team in component fabrication and testing - Support the creation of technical documentation using software like Microsoft Word and Excel - Work efficiently to ensure tasks are completed within the timeline Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical - 1-3 years of relevant experience in Mechanical engineering - Good understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals including physics, materials, and standards - Strong knowledge in CAD with certification in SolidWorks/Creo being an added advantage - Good knowledge of GD&T and ANSI Y14.5 drafting standards - Proficiency in the design of jigs and fixtures - Excellent communication skills Lincoln Electric is a global leader in advanced arc welding solutions, automated joining, assembly, and cutting systems.
