Senior Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in design, with expertise in production drawings, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software such as SketchUp and 3D Max. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team of junior designers while ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs that meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Drawings

  : Create detailed production drawings that accurately represent design concepts and specifications.

• Software Proficiency

  : Utilize AutoCAD for drafting and design projects, and employ SketchUp and 3D Max for 3D modeling and visualization.

• Team Management

  : Lead, mentor, and manage a team of junior designers, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and productivity.

• Color Expertise

  : Apply color theory and expertise to develop aesthetically pleasing and functional designs.

• Customer Requirement Understanding

  : Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, translating them into effective design solutions.

• Negotiation Skills

  : Engage in negotiations with clients and vendors to achieve favorable outcomes for projects.

• Site Experience

  : Conduct site visits to assess conditions and ensure designs are practical and implementable.

• Modular Design

  : Implement modular design principles, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in design solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in design, with a focus on production drawings and 3D modeling.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D Max.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience with site analysis and implementation.
• Strong understanding of color theory and application in design.
