Job Description

Senior Design Engineer Robotics & Simulation

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead mechanical design of robotic assemblies, manipulators, and motion systems.
Develop 3D CAD models and detailed manufacturing drawings.
Perform tolerance analysis, FEA simulations, and design optimization.
Integrate electromechanical subsystems with simulation software (e.g., Gazebo, ROS, MATLAB/Simulink).
Collaborate with embedded, communication, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and functionality.
Review and mentor junior engineers in design best practices and documentation.

Qualifications:

B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Robotics Engineering.
5+ years of experience in robotics design or simulator development.
Proficiency in SolidWorks (preferred), CATIA, or Creo; exposure to simulation tools (Ansys, MATLAB).
Strong understanding of actuators, drive systems, and kinematics.
