Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable databases
• Perform database tuning, optimization, and performance monitoring
• Ensure data integrity, security, and availability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop database solutions that meet business requirements
• Create and maintain database documentation, including data models, diagrams, and policies
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior database administrators

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 4-7 years of experience in database administration, design, and implementation
• Expertise in database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server
• Strong knowledge of database architecture, design, and implementation
• Experience with database backup and recovery procedures
• Familiarity with database security and compliance standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Experience with cloud-based database solutions is a plus
