Senior Database Engineer

As a highly skilled Database Engineer with a passion for data and a strong understanding of Oracle technologies, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing complex database solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and implementing complex database solutions, including data models, tables, indexes, and constraints. - Creating effective and manageable PL/SQL code (stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages) to automate database operations and implement business rules. - Identifying and addressing database performance bottlenecks to increase query performance and system efficiency. - Monitoring the health of the database, spotting possible problems, and taking preventative action to avoid downtime. - Designing and implementing data integration solutions using ETL technologies to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into the target database. - Ensuring data consistency and quality throughout the data integration process. - Implementing robust security measures to protect sensitive data, including user access controls, encryption, and data masking. - Collaborating effectively with development teams, data analysts, and business stakeholders to comprehend needs and provide excellent solutions. - Communicating technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Qualifications and Experience: - Strong PL/SQL development and Oracle database administration skills. - Extensive familiarity with SQL, SQL tuning, and performance optimization methods. - Experience with data modeling and database design concepts. - Understanding of data integration and ETL processes. - Understanding of best practices for database security. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. - Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
