Senior Database Engineer

Role & responsibilities :

• Administer, monitor, and maintain SQL Server and AWS RDS instances.
• Perform database backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning.
• Implement and maintain high availability and replicaon strategies.
• Opmize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and resource management.
• Automate roune tasks using PowerShell, AWS CLI, or other scripng tools.
• Ensure security compliance and manage user access controls.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support applicaon deployments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database-related issues and provide 24/7 support as needed.
• Maintain documentaon for database configuraons, processes, and procedures.

• Required Skills & Qualificaons:

• Strong experience with Microso SQL Server (2016 and above).
• Hands-on experience with AWS RDS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server).
• Proficiency in SQL scripng, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Experience with AWS services like CloudWatch, IAM, S3, and Lambda is a plus.
• Familiarity with database migraon tools (e.g., AWS DMS, SSIS).
• Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Strong analycal and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communicaon and documentaon skills.

Preferred Qualificaons:

• AWS Cerfied Database Specialty or AWS Soluons Architect cerficaon.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB) is a plus.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormaon.

Role : Third Party Payroll

Duration : 18 Months

Work Mode : Hybrid

Shift Time : 12:00 - 9:00PM
