Senior Data Scientist

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of credit risk modeling and financial risk modeling techniques. Your role will involve data mining, trend identification, and communication of insights to stakeholders. You must possess a degree in Statistics and have at least 5 years of experience in credit risk modeling. Key Responsibilities: - Understand business problems and translate them into statistical ones - Decide on the best modeling and analysis techniques to provide actionable insights to the business - Extract data from appropriate sources and perform complex data processing - Combine business knowledge with data analysis techniques to identify risk segments and behavioral trends - Develop and apply statistical modeling techniques to identify drivers of business metrics - Insert developed models into the scoring process and improve them based on feedback - Gather requirements from team professionals and identify the right modeling requirements Qualifications Required: - Degree in Statistics or Data Science - Extensive experience with statistical tools such as R, Python, VBA, and Excel - Proficiency in statistical modeling techniques including regression, forecasting, clustering, decision trees, and hypothesis testing - Experience in risk scorecards, predictive modeling, and machine learning - Ability to extract, clean, and prepare data from databases for modeling Please note: - All employments and education details with start and end dates should be provided - Project details with responsibilities should be included in your application Kindly do NOT share candidates with Analyst and Data Management experience only.,
