Description
Work with a talented group of data scientists, software developers and product owners to identify possible applications for AI and machine learning. Understand Cvents product lines, their business models and the data collected. Perform machine learning research on various types of data ( numeric, text, audio, video, image). Deliver machine learning models in a state that can be picked up by a software development team and operationalized via Cvents products. Thoroughly document your work as well as results, to the extent that another data scientist can replicate them. Progressively enhance your skills in machine learning, writing production-quality Python code, and communication. In This Role, You Will: Work with a talented group of data scientists, software developers and product owners to identify possible applications for AI and machine learning. Understand Cvents product lines, their business models and the data collected. Perform machine learning research on various types of data ( numeric, text, audio, video, image). Deliver machine learning models in a state that can be picked up by a software development team and operationalized via Cvents products. Thoroughly document your work as well as results, to the extent that another data scientist can replicate them. Progressively enhance your skills in machine learning, writing production-quality Python code, and communication. Heres What You Need: A Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (natural sciences, math, statistics, computer science). At least 3 years of experience working as a data scientist in industry. In-depth familiarity with the Linux operating system and command-line work. Conceptual and technical understanding of machine learning, including model training and evaluation. Experience with formal Python coding. Proficiency in machine learning packages in Python. Familiarity with Generative AI based system development. Experience with relational databases and query-writing in SQL. Knowledge of linear algebra and statistics. Skills in data exploration and interpretation. It will be excellent if you also have: A Masters or PhD degree in a quantitative field. Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake platforms. Ability to write production-quality Python code with testing coverage. Experience working on a cloud platform (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud), especially machine learning R&D on a cloud platform. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including Git processes, code reviews, test-driven development and CI/CD. Experience with A/B testing. Skills in data visualization and dashboarding. Knowledge of how to interact with a REST API. Proven ability for proactive, independent work with some supervision. Strong verbal and written communication.
