Job Description

Role & responsibilities

7-10 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role, with significant hands-on experience in Teradata.
Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Teradata utilities (FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT, BTEQ, etc.).
Deep understanding of Teradata architecture, including parsing engines, access modules, and optimizing data distribution.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, normalization, denormalization, and schema design.
Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Perl.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating Teradata with cloud data lakes is a plus.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
