Senior Data Engineer

Opti Value Tek is seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, Looker, and Snowflake to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines, ensuring reusability, performance, and business alignment.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesWrite reusable, modular SQL code for data engineering solutions.Work with dimensional modelling (facts, dimensions, SCD, star schemas).Build and maintain Looker semantic layers over Snowflake with focus on scalability and accuracy.Define LookML models, explores, views, and dashboards.Collaborate with business teams to define metrics and dimensions aligned to business goals.Ensure design and QA alignment with Looker best practices.Learn and contribute to all components of the Big Data Pipeline.

Required Skills
