Senior Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance

  ETL/ELT data pipelines

  .
• Build and optimize data models and transformations using

  Snowflake

  ,

  Redshift

  , and

  Databricks

  .
• Write complex, high-performance queries using

  Advanced SQL

  for large-scale datasets.
• Develop data processing solutions using

  Python

  .
• Collaborate with BI teams to deliver dashboards and reports using

  Tableau

  .
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and adherence to best practices in data governance.
  
• Optimize query performance, storage, and cost across cloud data platforms.
  
• Implement data security, access controls, and compliance standards.
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Analytics, and Engineering.
  
• Mentor junior data engineers and conduct code and architecture reviews.
  

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with

  Python

  for data engineering and automation.

• Advanced SQL

  expertise (complex joins, window functions, optimization).
• Extensive experience with

  Snowflake

  and

  Redshift

  data warehouses.
• Strong working knowledge of

  Databricks

  and Apache Spark.
• Experience building dashboards and data visualizations in

  Tableau

  .
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  
• Experience with data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas).
  
• Knowledge of CI/CD, version control (Git), and data orchestration tools.
  

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with Airflow, dbt, or similar orchestration tools.
  
• Exposure to real-time streaming (Kafka, Kinesis).
  
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and cataloging tools.
