Senior Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer at Kaaspro, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric. - Integrating data from SAP and other enterprise systems into Microsoft Fabric / cloud data platforms. - Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security across all stages of the pipeline. - Working closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Optimizing and monitoring data workflows for performance and scalability. - Contributing to the overall data architecture and best practices. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver analytics-ready datasets. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience: - 4+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Synapse/Data Engineering, Lakehouse, Pipelines). - Strong understanding of data integration from SAP systems (SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP HANA, or SAP Data Services). - Proficiency in ETL/ELT processes and data modeling. - Experience with cloud environments (Azure preferred). - Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance practices. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred skills that would be beneficial for this role include familiarity with Power BI, DAX, and other Microsoft analytics tools, experience with Python, SQL, or other scripting languages for data transformation, and exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
