Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Microsoft Fabric and PySpark.

Build, manage, and optimize data models for analytics and reporting in Power BI.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Implement data quality, governance, and security best practices across data platforms.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
Ensure data architecture aligns with business goals and performance requirements.

Ideal Candidate Profile

5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering and data pipeline development.
Proven ability to work with Microsoft Fabric and integrate it within modern data architectures.
Strong command over PySpark for building and optimizing large-scale distributed data processing systems.
Deep understanding of SQL including query optimization, data modeling, and performance tuning.
Experienced in designing and building Power BI dashboards with robust data models and DAX calculations.
Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on data accuracy, scalability, and performance.
Comfortable working in cloud-based data ecosystems (Azure preferred).
Excellent collaboration skills can partner effectively with data scientists, BI developers, and business stakeholders.
Self-driven and proactive in identifying data improvement opportunities and implementing solutions.
Passionate about staying up to date with emerging data technologies and best practices.
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and code quality.
