Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS services like S3, Glue, Lambda, and RDS.
Build robust ETL processes to efficiently ingest, transform, and store data. Manage and optimize relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) to support evolving business needs. Ensure data quality through validation, monitoring, and governance best practices. Automate data workflows and processing using Python, SQL, and Bash. Enable data accessibility and insights via BI tools such as Tableau or Metabase. Implement DevOps and CI/CD practices using tools like Terraform and GitHub Actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective data solutions.
Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong background in AWS-based data platforms.
Advanced proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data transformation. Strong SQL skills and experience with database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.). Hands-on experience with AWS services including Glue, S3, Lambda, and RDS. Solid grasp of ETL/ELT development and building efficient data pipelines. Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau or Metabase for reporting and visualization. Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Commitment to data quality, security, and governance best practices.
Exposure to ML technologies such as SageMaker.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with tools like Jira and Confluence. Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, Git version control, and automated testing for data pipelines.
