Senior Data Engineer

As a member of our team, you will collaborate with product, product engineering, data engineering, and data science peers to build and support our AdTech platform. Your responsibilities will include: - Building data-oriented solutions that are simple, scalable, reliable, secure, maintainable, and make a measurable impact. - Providing our teams with the data they need to build, sell, and manage our platform, and scaling DS prototypes into production solutions. - Developing, delivering, and maintaining batch and real-time data pipelines, analysis services, workflows, orchestrations, and managing the platforms and data infrastructure. - Managing our data platform, incorporating services using Airflow, CloudSQL, BigQuery, Kafka, Dataproc, and Redis running on Kubernetes and GCP. - Supporting our Data Science teams by providing access to data, performing code reviews, aiding model evaluation and testing, deploying models, and supporting their execution. You will be expected to employ modern pragmatic engineering principles, practices, and tooling, including TDD/BDD/ATDD, XP, QA Engineering, Trunk Based Development, Continuous Delivery, automation, DevSecOps, and Site Reliability Engineering. Additionally, you will contribute to driving ongoing improvements to our engineering principles, practices, and tooling while providing support and mentorship to junior engineers. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in various areas such as translating data science prototypes into production services, designing and operating batch/streaming feature pipelines, implementing reproducible ML training workflows, packaging and deploying models as containers/services, running scalable inference, establishing CI/CD for data and models, applying DevSecOps in ML systems, collaborating with data science on feature design, and contributing to product strategy and KPI definition.
