Job Description

Key skills:

ETL testing , QA Testing , Functional Testing , SQL ,Python

Design, implement, and execute test plans for data models, dashboards, and backend logic within the Sigma platform.
Validate data integrity, transformations, and business logic using complex SQL queries.
Perform regression testing and identify defects across various data layers.
Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and business analysts to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
Track and report bugs using tools like JIRA, and follow up on resolutions.
Work closely with Agile teams to provide QA support throughout the development lifecycle.
Contribute to the automation of test cases and the development of reusable test assets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or similar).
Experience in testing data-centric applications, including ETL/ELT processes and BI dashboards.
Understanding of data warehouse and analytics platforms, especially Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI.
Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Good knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Excellent attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Sigma Computing platform is a strong plus.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools or scripting (e.g., Python, dbt, Great Expectations).
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and QA integration in DevOps environments.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development cycles.
