Job Description

Kaeyrus Private Limited is looking for Senior Data Engineer (Azure & Python) to join our team

Architect, develop, and optimize cloud-native data pipelines and big data ecosystems using Azure technologies.
Design and implement robust data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment workflows, ensuring high data quality, reliability, and consistency.
Embed key non-functional requirements such as security, performance, scalability, disaster recovery, and compliance into solution designs.
Evaluate and prototype modern data technologies and lead proofs of concept (POCs) to drive continuous platform improvement.
Collaborate with Data Governance teams to maintain high-quality metadata, lineage tracking, and compliance.
Promote data mesh principles, reusable data products, and best engineering practices across teams.
Apply automation and DevSecOps practices using Terraform, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and operations.
Partner with stakeholders across Product, Governance, Analytics, and Engineering to define technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Present technical architecture, solution design, and performance findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Job Requirements

Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering, automation, and pipeline development.
Proven experience building production-grade data pipelines on Azure (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, or equivalent).
Deep understanding of data lake/data warehouse architectures and modern data platform patterns.
Extensive experience with data migration, integration of distributed data sources, and handling large-scale datasets.
Skilled in DevOps/CI/CD, Agile delivery, and automated deployment workflows.
Experience collaborating with Data Governance, Cloud Engineering, and Product teams.
Previous experience with Snowflake is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
