Senior Data and Legal Analyst

As a Senior Data & Legal Analyst at Alphastream.ai in Bangalore with over 3 years of experience, you will be a key player at the intersection of law, finance, and technology. Your primary responsibility will be to extract, analyze, interpret, and structure legal and financial data from complex private credit agreements and related documentation. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing data accuracy, optimizing documentation workflows, and developing scalable technology solutions for the private credit lifecycle. Your work will directly impact investment decision-making, operational efficiency, and platform innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and interpret complex private credit agreements, including bespoke structures and amendments - Extract and validate key legal and commercial terms such as facility structure, pricing mechanics, financial covenants, security details, and governing law - Review and validate data extracted by junior analysts to ensure accuracy - Identify and implement opportunities to streamline data extraction workflows - Train and mentor junior team members on documentation standards and legal interpretation Qualifications: - Law degree or equivalent legal/financial qualification - Minimum 3+ years of experience in credit documentation, legal analysis, or private credit - Deep understanding of private credit structures, legal terminology, and debt financial instruments - Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail - Proficiency in document management systems and data tools - Experience working with cross-functional teams including legal, investment, and technology Please note that this position involves working in rotational shifts.
